Joelle Reid has been a pleasure to work with every step of the way towards achieving our goal of giving The House Over-By at The Three Chimneys Restaurant wit Rooms, Isle of Skye, a complete facelift. We had a very tight timescale in which to achieve this, but having assured us that it was "do-able", Joelle threw herself into the work with professional passion, obvious enjoyment, great skill, imagination and positive direction, right from the first meeting we had with her. We achieved a complete transformation of the bedrooms and public areas within our short period of closure at the beginning of 2014. Joelle managed the whole project almost without a hitch! Feedback from our guests has been superb. What more could we ask for?

Joelle recently completed a total redesign of our living room, including shifting and replacing a fireplace and provision of bespoke furniture and fittings.

At the start, Joelle listened carefully to what we liked and didn’t like, shared examples and ideas and worked with us to scope out every aspect of the new room.

Joelle never tried to push her ideas but worked extremely conscientiously to make sure we were involved at every stage of the planning and implementation; it was as though she got right inside our heads to understand what works for us. So we felt that it was truly our project, guided and supported by a real expert with a superb eye for design, function and colour. 

We are absolutely thrilled with the finished room, which meets all our expectations and much more. It’s comfortable and practical and yet it also manages to be stunning, luxurious and modern. It’s a joy to use the room and we’ve also loved showing it off to our friends and family who have been equally impressed with the new look.
